Lorenzo Tonda was born in Fiesole, Italy, in 1992. In 2011 he graduated from high school at the Liceo Artistico Leon Battista Alberti and consequently, in 2017, he graduated from the Accademia di Belle Arti specializing in oil painting and fresco; as a self-taught artist, he soon approached the world of 3D graphics which he combined with his own pictorial practice.
In 2017, after a brief stay in Berlin, he created the first public artwork, in the form of a mural, in the city of Trencin, Slovakia, commissioned by the city art museum Gallery of M. A. Bazovsky.
In 2018, in Florence, he founded the Thauma collective with digital artist Federico Niccolai presenting various exhibition projects between Tuscany and Lazio in which painting and sculpture, with a classical approach, meet modern techniques of virtual spatialization and multimedia. The same year he inaugurated his first solo exhibition at the Studio Rosai in via Toscanella.
Between 2020 and 2021 he moved to Rome where he was able to work as an assistant to the artist Nicola Verlato, further refining his pictorial and compositional techniques, simultaneously starting his own exhibition activity.
Working in the collective also expanded his interest in the world of virtual reality and the possible interactions between painting and public art it can create.
In 2022, with the support of the Municipality of Florence, he created a mural painting for a city park in the San Jacopino district. Thanks to this project he experienced the possibilities of interlacing between digital and physical arts in relation to daily life and the vital space of a multi-ethnic neighborhood.
He is currently dedicating himself to personal projects and privately teaching traditional mural techniques.

Gallery Poulsen blev grundlagt på Sorøvej i Herning i 2003 af Morten Poulsen. Siden 2005 har lokationen været hovedstaden og fra 2010 Kødbyen, København, hvorfra galleriet drives i dag. Galleriet afvikler otte til ni solo og gruppeudstillinger årligt, samt deltager i danske og udenlandske messer, hovedsageligt i USA.
